Accommodation for Foreign Students and Postgraduate Students at Dragomanov Ukrainian State University

 International students and postgraduate students who have been admitted to and continue their studies at Dragomanov Ukrainian State University are guaranteed 100% accommodation in student dormitories, regardless of their academic performance at the respective faculty/institute. Dormitory room layouts include block-type, corridor-type, and mixed-type configurations.

• Dormitory No. 3 – 2-zh Levka Lukianenka Street, Kyiv
• Dormitory No. 4 – 6-a Osvity Street, Kyiv
• Dormitory No. 6 – 8-a Kosmichna Street, Kyiv
• Dormitory No. 7 – 8-b Kosmichna Street, Kyiv
• Dormitory No. 8 – 8-v Kosmichna Street, Kyiv

Conditions for obtaining a place in the student dormitories of Dragomanov Ukrainian State University :

1.     A valid medical certificate (Form 086-o);

2.     A notarized translation into Ukrainian of the first page of the international passport of the individual moving into the dormitory;

3.     Three photographs (size 3x4 cm);

4.     A valid housing referral for the duration of one academic year;

5.     Completion of a safety orientation session covering:

• operation of household electrical appliances, radio equipment, and gas devices;
• dormitory internal regulations;
• sanitary-epidemiological and fire safety standards;
• proper use of sanitary facilities;
• procedures for damage compensation;
• use of personal electrical devices;
• rules for eviction;
• procedure for obtaining individually assigned dormitory inventory;

6.     Proof of payment for accommodation in accordance with the deadlines specified in the referral;

7.     Receipt of the official dormitory residence permit (accommodation order).

Upon meeting all requirements for dormitory accommodation, a one-year accommodation agreement is signed with the student. The agreement is valid for one academic year and is subject to annual renewal.

• The cost of dormitory accommodation per day for applicants is 200 UAH

• The cost of dormitory accommodation per day for part-time students is 250 UAH

• The cost of dormitory accommodation per month for full-time students is 800 UAH

• The cost of dormitory accommodation per month for full-time postgraduate students is 1,600 UAH

A dormitory room is assigned to the student for the entire period of study. In exceptional circumstances, and upon the student’s request, they may be relocated to another room or dormitory by decision of the housing committee, dormitory administration, and campus management.
